Free shipping threshold abolished
Norway has abolished the NOK 230 duty-free threshold, which means that goods are taxed from the first NOK for all shipments.
Procedures for shipments under NOK 3,000
For parcels worth less than NOK 3,000 (approx. €260), 25% Norwegian VAT will be added at the time of purchase. However, you won't have to pay anything extra if your basket is less than NOK 3,000, including delivery charges.
NB: The amount of NOK 3,000 corresponds to the value of the merchandise alone, excluding delivery charges, insurance, etc.
Procedures for shipments over NOK 3,000
For shipments over NOK 3,000, VAT will be collected directly from you on receipt of the parcel.
